About the Journal

The Zeitschrift für Sprachwissenschaft was founded 1981 by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Sprachwissenschaft (German Linguistic Society). Between 2004 and 2024, it has been published by Mouton de Gruyter. Starting in 2025, it will be published by PubliKon at the University of Konstanz in a Diamond Open Access format.
