APPLICATION OF "MAXIMUM MOMENTUM TRAINING" IN DEVELOPING MUSCLE STRENGTH
AbstractPURPOSE Experimental research on the application of "maximum momentum training" in developing muscle strength was conducted in 24 subjects. RESULTS Results showed that there exists a high level impulse output area, called the "fuzzy extreme value", around the extreme impulse output value when human muscle is trained with different loads. It was also found that with any amount of training load within this area, the training effects in muscle strength development are the same as with the load at the extreme output value. The results have laid the theoretical foundation for measuring the load of extreme impulse value by using simplified instruments in practice. Arrangement of the amount of exercise in “maximum momentum training” was also discussed in this paper.
