Abstract

PURPOSE AND METHOD Two hundred and forty-four children of the ages of four to five years old were chosen randomly and investigated. They were divided into test group and control group. Twenty-seven indexes including body shape, physical function, physical fitness, and other parameters were measured in every child before and after experiment. During a year and a half, body training was performed in test group children. RESULTS i The results showed that within a short period, body training had little affect on children's body shape, force fitness and sebaceous thickness, but had much influence on physical fitness and development of cardio-pulmonary function. It demonstrated that body training was a course of aerobic training and played an important roll in children's growth and improvement of physical function. This paper also developed the intensity control parameters in a set of children's body training.
