2022: The Proceedings of the LFG'22 Conference
This year's Conference on Lexical Functional Grammar was held in person for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, at the University of Groningen, in the Netherlands. The program committee for LFG22 were Tina Bögel and Agnieszka Patejuk. We would like to thank them for coordinating the review process and working with the local organiser, Stephen Jones, to put together this year's programme. We would also like to thank the executive committee without whom the conference planning would not have been possible.
Stephen Jones, of the University of Groningen, was solely responsible for local organisation, and so deserves the heartiest thanks and praise. He ensured a smoothly run and hugely enjoyable conference, including excellent facilitation of online participation, leading to a very successful hybrid event.
As usual, submission to the proceedings was open to all papers, posters, workshop presentations and invited talks given at the conference. Some of these presentations were not submitted to the proceedings. For these, we suggest contacting the authors directly. We note that all of the abstracts were peer-reviewed anonymously (double-blind reviewing) and that all of the papers submitted to the proceedings underwent an additional round of reviewing with the possibility of rejection from the proceedings. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all of the anonymous reviewers for the donation of their expertise and effort for detailed and constructive reviews in what is often a very short turn-around time.
This year for the first time the proceedings will not be published on the CSLI Publications site. The LFG Proceeedings are now hosted by the Communication, Information, Media Centre (KIM) of the University of Konstanz, whose deep commitment to Open Access includes providing an Open Journal System (OJS) infrastructure, and we have moved the LFG Proceedings publication procedure to be integrated with a separate LFG OJS instantiation. Our thanks go particularly to Sebastian Danish (Konstanz) for bearing with us as we got to grips with this new way of doing things and to Melina Schnekenbühl (Konstanz) and Kenneth Perry (CSLI Publications) for helping us create a copy of the existing LFG Proceedings, so as to archive all previous volumes of LFG Proceedings additionally at the University of Konstanz. support of our proceedings and our community.
