Abstract

The technique of the throw of the hammer t h a t I have proposed with the biomechanic research here presented permits t o the 'Athlete to perform more rotations respect to those u t i l i z e d by the Soviet technique (1+3) obtaining in the meantime both a higher speed of release and a b e t t e r dynamic balance. Besides it is possible t o express a better rational distribution of the accelerations produced and of the neuro-muscolar energies produced by the Athlete. I At this purpose, taking as s t a r t i n g point the Soviet school techniques, I build a geometric model which expresses: 1) The trajectory o f the head of the hammer during the individual rotations. 2) The plans containing such t r a j e c t o r i e s . 3) The inclination angles of each plane with the previous one as regard t o the plan XY. 4) The r o t a t i o n of each plane around the Z axis ( live point). 5) The dragging t o which the Athlete is subject during the mono-support. 6) The influence o f t h e strength-weight specially during the mono-support. 7) On t h i s model I have b u i l t the new technique analysing the advantages offered with respect t o the Soviet school, advantages shown by the programs implemented i n HP-Basic which compares the Soviet technique with the one that I have exposed.
