THE KARATE, BOXING, AND THUMBLESS BOXING GLOVE AS A FUNCTION OF VELOCITY
Abstract
Two studies were designed, using Smith and Hamill's (1985) protocol, to compare the foam Karate Glove, the conventional Boxing Glove, and the Thumbless Glove on selected impact characteristics of peak force, time to peak force, average force and impulse at differential velocities and with repeated impacts.Downloads
